The Federal Tax Authority signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Government 01 platform to expand the use of the authority’s TAX 10 platform within the month of innovation.

Dubai, February 19, 2024: As part of the Federal Tax Authority’s participation in the “Emirates Innovation Month,” which continues throughout February; The Authority announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Government 01 platform to expand the use of the innovative TAX 10 platform, which the Authority launched last year to enhance and encourage the spirit of innovation, excellence and professional creativity among its employees to improve its services, achieve sustainable development of institutional and individual performance, and spread a culture of innovation.

This step comes as part of the community body’s contribution to Innovation Month, through which it aims to stimulate cooperation between various governmental and local academic agencies and tax authorities in the region, to enhance innovation in the government sector and provide a role model for using technology to improve government services.

His Excellency Khaled Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, stressed the authority’s keenness to strengthen strategic cooperation frameworks with various entities in a way that enhances the culture of innovation and empowers the capabilities of individuals in society, and provides knowledge platforms for specialists to learn about the best practices and experiences in the field of government tax services based on the use of advanced technology.

His Excellency added: “Through the partnership with the Government 01 platform, qualitative projects will be implemented in the field of innovation that anticipate the future and contribute to achieving our strategic goals to quickly respond to global developments in the field of government innovation, and keep pace with the requirements of comprehensive digital transformation and the national agenda of the UAE.”

In turn, Jassim Al-Haddad, head of the innovation team at the Authority, explained that the initiative to expand the use of the platform will enable the development of regional cooperation, as the Authority will grant licenses to use the TAX 10 platform to representatives of tax authorities in the GCC countries. It will also support the government and academic sector by providing licenses to use the platform to representatives of universities and government agencies. In the country, in addition to supporting community members by providing 100 licenses to community members for 6 months to use the platform.

The Tax 10 platform is the first initiative of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, and its importance lies in providing rich content in the field of government innovation that has been produced by the authority cumulatively over the years, which highlights the best global practices in the field of taxes , and also contributes to In enhancing the efforts of innovation officials and teams with specialized digital content and tools . In addition, the platform documents the success stories of the Federal Tax Authority in an innovative way, according to high-quality digital content.

The TAX 10  platform was created based on the latest technologies and smart programs used in this field, to provide a framework that encourages the effective participation of all the Authority’s employees to design and develop future experiences and initiatives in the tax field, and other areas related to the Authority’s operational and service systems. The platform provides a rich digital observatory that includes more than 3,000 documented government innovation practices globally, distributed across 15 fields. These include taxes, financial innovations, and other areas such as government services and future skills.
