The Federal Tax Authority obtains the “Innovative Government Institution” certificate from the Global Innovation Institute
Dubai, February 23, 2024: The Federal Tax Authority obtained a new international accreditation in the field of innovation, and received the “Innovative Government Institution – Advanced Level” certificate according to the “ Gini ” evaluation, granted by the “Global Innovation Institute”, which specializes in the innovative evaluation of institutions and granting professional certificates. This coincided with the Authority’s participation in the “Emirates Innovation Month 2024” activities, which will continue throughout February.
The distinguished “Innovative Government Institution” certificate in this field of innovation, accredited in the United States of America, and designed specifically for government agencies, confirms the advanced level achieved by the Federal Tax Authority in maturity and the ability to continuously advance in the areas of innovation and development.
The international certificate was received by His Excellency Khaled Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, from Mr. Mohammed Shaheen, Regional Director of the Global Innovation Institute, during the honoring ceremony held on this occasion at the Authority’s headquarters in the presence of several Authority officials.
His Excellency Khaled Al Bustani stressed the importance of the Authority obtaining the “Innovative Government Institution” certificate from a prestigious international institution such as the “Global Innovation Institute”, which constitutes a new qualitative achievement that is added to its record of achievements in the fields of innovation and quality due to its adoption of the concept of innovation as one of the basic pillars for developing the tax system in the UAE and raising Its efficiency, and investment in its human resources.
His Excellency added: “This achievement pushes us towards making more efforts within our development plans to improve services and achieve a global leadership position in the tax sector, which contributes to strengthening the country’s position as a global center for innovation.”
